Field Shelters
Our field shelters are designed and built in Scotland to withstand harsh weather conditions while providing strong, practical protection for horses and livestock all year round. Every shelter is handcrafted on-site using heavy-duty structural timber framing and quality materials, with strength, durability, and a professional finish at the heart of every build.
We offer a range of standard sizes including popular 12ft × 12ft, 12ft × 16ft, and 12ft × 24ft layouts, alongside fully custom sizes and configurations to suit your exact requirements. Whether you are looking for a simple run-in shelter, mobile field shelter, tack room, hay storage area, or larger stable-style setup, every build can be tailored to your needs.
All shelters are constructed using strong structural timber framing with reinforced roof construction and closely spaced supports for added strength and stability in exposed locations. We offer a choice of external cladding options including durable 16mm tongue-and-groove boarding or premium 21mm loglap cladding for a heavier-duty finish and traditional appearance.
As standard, all shelters include durable Onduline roofing, guttering, and internal kickboards to help protect the structure from wear and impact caused by horses and livestock. Our shelters are built with practicality and longevity in mind, combining traditional timber construction with quality modern materials to create strong, long-lasting shelters built for everyday use.
A wide range of optional extras can also be added to customise your shelter, including tack rooms, storage areas, stable partitions, gates, doors, windows, timber skids for mobility, additional kickboarding, and bespoke layout alterations. Whether you need a simple field shelter or a fully customised setup, we can build a solution tailored specifically to your requirements.
